Mothers Day for All
It feels like every day in the year is now represented by many worthy causes or recognitions. Mothers Day is an old skool one that I’ve been able to celebrate since I was a child as I’m lucky to have a loving and caring mum. However this can also be a difficult time for people. I hold love, light and compassion for those mothers separated from their children.. Those bonds will hold strong and be forever. This is also true for any mothers or loved ones who have passed into spirit.
But as I’ve grown older, this day has also helped me recognise all, human and animal, mothers, grandmothers, aunties, friends and guardians who care, whether for their children, their siblings, friends or mother earth. I hold this day in gratitude for all feminine connections and beautiful relationships. If women were at the helm things would look very different across our landscape.
Thank you to my fur babies, passed over in spirit and present, you keep me going strong and grounded, you are all forever in my heart. Today is to celebrate those maternal bonds and friendships that run deep and being thankful that love really does surround us, even if sometimes we may not see or feel this.
