Rest, Review and Gratitude
I was reading my new years post of 2021 it’s called ‘The Power of Gratitude’. It sounded so hopeful for 2021 due to the many challenges I faced, as many did, during 2020. Well I can honestly say 2021 was even bloody harder and was probably for many again. I was proud and grateful for my resilience for 2020, so what for 2021?
I thank and I’m grateful for my spiritual practice and support, more than ever, as well as my family, extended family and good friends. Being in the space of gratitude produces a higher vibration and will lift your soul, however it can be very difficult to find gratitude when you are experiencing rough terrain in your life. This is when I need a little solitude, to go quiet and turn to my inner wisdom. We all have this inner wisdom but when life feels like an ongoing carousel it’s hard to stop. So where can I be on my own, even if just for 5 or 10 minutes…. the bathroom. No one follows me in there, actually that is not true, Miesha Mosh Pit, our bengal cat, does like to push the door open if its near her feeding times. So yes I sometimes will be in the bathroom, doing some deep breathing techniques to rest and thinking of at least 3 things I am grateful for to get me through the tough days.
Whenever you face adversity if you try to just think of 3 things you are grateful for, your vibration will ripple out to others around you and beyond. These can be personal such as ‘I’m grateful for my inner strength’ or my humour or things to do with your career, or for certain people or animals and pets in your life. Really feel your feelings when thinking of each of them, this will help you and your body to release stress and lift you energetically. This is also a great exercise to do each day, even when you are having a great day. So, can you think of 3 things to be grateful for that showed up during 2021?
I’d like to thank you all for your support throughout 2021 and especially to my fur babies Chunkie Monkie and Miesha Most Pit. Let’s keep the hope and faith for 2022 to continue to bring us abundance, good health and happiness.
